Built from both sides of workforce health.
Avaana was built by people who had seen the same worker fall through the gap twice: once in the wellbeing system, and again in the claims system.
Avaana was built by people who had seen the same worker fall through the gap twice: once in the wellbeing system, and again in the claims system.

Avaana began as a national health booking platform, connecting employees with a governed network of allied health practitioners.
It later expanded into workplace injury management, through partnerships inside Australia's workers compensation system.
Working both sides made something obvious. Workforce health was being run across separate systems, by separate vendors, on separate records, even though the employees were the same people, the practitioners were often the same practitioners, and the care pathways were the same pathways. The only thing that changed at the boundary was who was accountable.
It is not two problems. It is one problem, split down the middle by procurement.
So we built one platform: pre-employment, preventative health, personal health support and workplace injury management, on one governed network, with clinical history that follows the worker rather than the claim.
5,500 credentialled, AHPRA-verified practitioners across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
Live in insurer and corporate health ecosystems, operating claims bookings with EML, HII and Trinity.
Working with employers across construction, manufacturing, logistics, aged care and corporate sectors.
We will not tell you the integrated product is finished. Each individual component is live and carrying real sessions and claims; the reporting layer connecting the layers is still being built. The distinction matters to the people who buy this, so we make it.
