Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Dr. James Shulman is a clinical psychologist who recognises the importance of creating a safe space for individuals who come to therapy at a challenging time in their lives.
James understands the relationship between client and therapist is central to therapy. James focuses on building a shared understanding of difficulties which may be interfering in people's lives, and how to intervene to enhance well-being and functioning.
James has worked across several public and private mental health settings. James believes that as humans, we all experience suffering at different points in our lives. James focuses on trying to help people become unstuck and connect with the things that are important in their lives or give meaning.
James draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles. James works with adolescents and adults.
